This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver exceptional customer support through on-site installations.
• Supervise the diagnosis, troubleshooting, servicing, and repair of intricate equipment and systems.
• Educate customers on the operation and maintenance of their systems.
• Act as the company representative for customers on both administrative and technical issues.
• Install, maintain, validate, and repair PerkinElmer and/or multi-vendor instruments at customer locations.
• Offer troubleshooting, repair, and qualification services for customers, including warranty support.
• Communicate service offerings such as training, support, software, laboratory services, and field upgrades.
• Enhance account profitability through efficient service execution and delivery.
• Manage assigned assets, including tools, test equipment, telecommunications devices, and service parts inventory.
• Improve PerkinElmer’s product quality by actively reporting opportunities for enhancement.
• Complete all necessary administrative tasks, including time reporting and assigned training.
• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, including military experience, plus 5 years of direct experience in laboratory equipment repair; OR an Associate degree in a relevant discipline with 7 years of direct experience; OR a High School Diploma with over 10 years of direct experience in laboratory equipment repair.
• Willingness to travel by air, vehicle, and/or other means as needed for business purposes.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
