Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, validate, and repair PerkinElmer and/or multivendor instrumentation at customer locations with top-tier service.

• Strive for zero service recalls.

• Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks at customer sites within the designated time frame and established performance standards.

• Provide scheduled preventative maintenance for contract clients, remedial maintenance for non-contract clients billed at an hourly rate, and all applicable warranty services for our products in the field.

• Exhibit knowledge of and compliance with Installation, warranty, and service contract terms to ensure accurate billing information is provided to customers.

• Keep up-to-date electronic and repair documentation for dispatch, inventory, and service support functions of the role.

• Execute timely uploads and downloads of necessary data to maintain the integrity of the service system.

• Responsible for assigned company assets, including computers, tools, test equipment, telecommunication devices, and personal service parts inventory.

• Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply and maintain accurate records.

• Actively engage in developing both technical and soft skills to uphold and enhance PerkinElmer’s value proposition to customers.

• Ensure training and compliance in health and safety, security, environmental, and operational aspects of daily activities in the workplace.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent military experience with over 2 years of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and providing qualification services in a laboratory environment, OR an Associate degree in the same fields with over 4 years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft 365.

• Certification issued by vendors on relevant laboratory equipment.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
