This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Deliver onsite technical customer support to clients within a designated geographic area or specific account.
• Address customer system malfunctions through hardware servicing, testing, diagnostic analysis, and systems evaluation.
• Provide 24/7 or scheduled response to customer concerns, which may include participation in the After Hours Support Team.
• Review software and hardware error logs and conduct operating system assessments.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and repair hardware, storage area network, and systems configuration and compatibility issues.
• Utilize remote system connection tools for diagnostics, repairs, and configuration modifications.
• Adhere to customer-specific repair protocols and evaluate current and future customer requirements.
• Identify necessary parts and quantities, return defective or excess parts, and keep precise inventory records.
• Complete audit documentation, email responses, timesheets, and expense reports.
• Participate in team meetings and document activities using the Field Point time-reporting tool.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience with OEM data center hardware.
• Proven field experience with a successful track record.
• Strong technical skills and aptitude.
• Familiarity with various OEM equipment and the ability to acquire knowledge of new products and concepts.
• Willingness to work extended or irregular hours and be available on call 24/7.
• Proven customer service experience with the capability to prioritize client needs.
• Ability to work autonomously while demonstrating leadership and teamwork.
• CompTIA A+ and Server+ certifications are mandatory.
• Valid driver’s license with a suitable driving record as per travel requirements.
• Willingness to be on-call and respond according to service level agreements within the assigned territory.
• Ability to maintain regular working hours for site-specific roles.
• Capability to lift 50 pounds and perform activities such as standing, walking, pulling, squatting, reaching, bending, and stooping for extended durations.
• Competence to engage in active fieldwork, including walking, standing, squatting, bending, and driving for more than 50% of the workday.
• Potential to work at heights, including the use of ladders.
• Ability to successfully pass customer background checks and Park Place Technologies pre-employment screenings.
• Related OEM computer hardware certifications from Dell, IBM, HP, or other major vendors are advantageous.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is preferred.
• A High School Degree is required.
• Willingness to travel to client locations up to 75% of the time within a specified territorial radius, including trips of up to 4+ hours one way by car.
