Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Install, configure, and maintain Packsize equipment solutions at various customer facilities.

• Identify, analyze, maintain, and repair intricate mechanical equipment.

• Address challenging customer inquiries regarding product features.

• Conduct start-up testing and provide customer training on product capabilities, features, and general maintenance.

• Develop and sustain strong, trust-based relationships with customers.

• Collaborate closely with other Packsize team members to deliver outstanding customer service.

• Schedule tasks at customer job sites.

• Troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively using technical drawings and documentation.

• Perform routine maintenance and respond to emergency services as needed.

• Engage in continuous learning, including customer operational processes, packaging designs, and technical specifications.

• Install Packsize solutions and train others on usage and maintenance.

• Handle clerical and administrative responsibilities, including prompt email communication, preparing and submitting expense reports, arranging travel, and writing detailed technical reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong customer service orientation.

• Proficiency in Windows operating systems.

• Knowledgeable in and skilled with hand tools.

• Familiarity with mechanical systems.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Basic experience with Microsoft (Excel, Word) or Google Suite (Sheets, Docs) is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Associate's Degree, Vocational Training, or equivalent experience required.

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.
