Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Demonstrate and install Nilfisk industrial cleaning products at client locations.

• Train customer personnel on the use of equipment.

• Operate on customer sites across the North West region.

• Complete repairs in accordance with contracted service level agreements.

• Conduct follow-up calls to install additional components.

• Perform Portable Appliance Tests (PAT).

• Execute scheduled planned maintenance services.

• Adhere to workplace procedures, Health and Safety regulations, and technician protocols.

• Accurately capture client data and update jobs in real-time.

• Provide detailed, accurate reports for each site visit.

• Order parts via the central database and maintain van stock levels.

• Keep the company vehicle in excellent condition.

• Coordinate with sales colleagues to deliver equipment to customer locations.

• Maintain demonstration machines following their use.

• Collaborate with team members to achieve shared objectives.

• Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment.

• Capability to troubleshoot and repair various machine types.

• Effective communication skills with clients.

• Ability to comprehend client needs and deliver exceptional customer service.

• Skill in analyzing problems and developing prompt, effective solutions.

• Strong time management and task prioritization abilities.

• Capability to meet deadlines consistently.

• Proficient in speaking clearly and confidently to groups during equipment installation and training sessions.
