Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• In the role of a Field Service Engineer, you will operate from your home base and oversee your designated territory, providing support to clients throughout Leicestershire and Warwickshire.

• Each day brings new challenges. One day you might perform scheduled maintenance on a client's fleet, while the next could involve diagnosing an electrical issue, executing a repair during a breakdown, or installing new equipment.

• Your duties will encompass:

• Planned servicing and maintenance

• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults

• Executing repairs and breakdown tasks

• Completing service documentation in an electronic format

• Installing and commissioning equipment

• Fostering strong relationships with customers

• Upholding high safety standards

• Effectively managing your own workload

• You will be empowered to make decisions, resolve issues, and provide exceptional service, all while backed by an experienced engineering and technical team.

• **Essential**

• Mechanical engineering experience

• Foundational electrical fault-finding skills

• A valid UK driving licence

• Experience in maintaining or repairing machinery, vehicles, or equipment

• Strong problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to work autonomously

• Excellent customer service skills

• **We'd Especially Like to Hear From Engineers With Experience In:**

• Forklift trucks

• Plant equipment

• Agricultural machinery

• Construction equipment

• HGV, LGV, or PSV vehicles

• Automotive engineering

• REME or Armed Forces engineering backgrounds

• Roadside recovery

Previous field service experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
