Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Execute repairs, on-site commissioning, servicing, and calibration of customers' inline inspection equipment following established processes and procedures, which may also involve providing on-site training for customers as needed.

• Perform upgrades and refurbishments at customer locations.

• Address on-site customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.

• Must be adaptable to various environments and comply with the health and safety regulations of local clients.

• Accurately complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner according to company procedures.

• Expected to cooperate by working overtime as required.

• Participate in the on-call standby rota system as needed.

• Must be willing to learn about a diverse range of products and continuously enhance your product knowledge.

• Provide technical support via phone and email as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong technical skills in Electrical / Electronics.

• Minimum BTEC/ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in electromechanical or electrical engineering.

• Ideally, possess experience in a field service role and be familiar with all aspects of customer service, including commissioning, repairs, and servicing.

• Knowledge of PLC programming and PC hardware is advantageous.

• Proficient in PC literacy.

• Excellent organizational skills focused on reliably delivering on commitments.

• Methodical approach to problem-solving.

• Valid full current driving license.

• Strong communication skills.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Flexibility to work overtime and stay overnight occasionally is required.
