This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair servo-hydraulic and electro-mechanical test systems that are computer-controlled.
• Identify and diagnose problems across controllers, hydraulics, data acquisition systems, sensors, transducers, fixtures, and grips.
• Employ hands-on diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-system issues.
• Independently conduct calibrations for designated customer systems.
• Professionally manage service documentation, allocated assets, and communication with customers.
• Collaborate directly with customer engineering and lab teams in a service-focused environment.
• Uphold technical training and adhere to MTS quality and safety standards.
• 2–4 years of practical technical experience gained through internships, co-ops, labs, maintenance roles, automation, robotics, manufacturing, or military service.
• An associate degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field, or a 4-year Engineering Technology degree.
• Proficiency with tools, wiring, mechanical assemblies, and technical systems.
• 5–10+ years of experience supporting electro-mechanical, hydraulic, or industrial equipment for seasoned technicians.
• Capability to manage customer relationships and troubleshoot complex systems with minimal supervision.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to fulfill company vehicle requirements.
• Training on MTS-specific technology.
