Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Responsible for traveling to client locations to conduct verification, preventative maintenance, repair, and installation services.

• Operate remotely from the East Granby, CT/Springfield, MA region.

• Provide assistance using a company vehicle along with necessary tools and equipment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A two or four-year technical degree from a recognized institution.

• Proficiency in electro-mechanical systems.

• Capability to read, understand, and interpret fundamental technical information related to mechanics and electronics.

• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Familiarity with personal computers, including operating systems and Windows applications.

• Previous field service experience is highly preferred.

• Experience with automation systems is advantageous.

• Experience with preventative or corrective maintenance on servo hydraulic systems is preferred.

• Experience in materials testing is preferred, though not mandatory.

• Experience in delivering hands-on and classroom training on technical subjects is preferred.

• Must be able to successfully pass security background checks to gain access to US Government and military facilities.
