Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist in implementing the service strategy and driving service growth by emphasizing the delivery of prompt, high-quality, and cost-effective service offerings.

• Perform service tasks in line with Hitachi Energy's standard processes, quality benchmarks, and safety protocols.

• Provide exceptional customer service to meet the needs of our esteemed clients.

• Plan and manage service operations on-site.

• Oversee high-voltage service tasks, which include installation and commissioning, refurbishment, device replacement, routine maintenance, and inspections.

• Keep project site documentation and checklists updated, generate reports, and assist in resolving any onsite issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• A background in Electrical Engineering and relevant industry experience is essential.

• Experience in the High Voltage sector or the power industry (installation/service/maintenance) is required.

• Comprehensive knowledge of power engineering plants and equipment.

• Demonstrated experience with mechanical installations, switchgear, cabling/wiring setups, oil handling/processing/sampling, device function checks, and power equipment testing tools.

• Proven ability to lead a team and manage subcontractors effectively.

• Competence in reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical schematics.

• Relevant qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, and CCNSG are preferred.
