Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Organize and deliver technical training sessions for distributor staff, contractors, dealers, and/or installers.

• Evaluate and troubleshoot Franklin Electric products.

• Oversee and assist with product installations.

• Advocate for and showcase Franklin Electric products and initiatives at trade shows and special events.

• Perform product demonstrations as required.

• Gather and report marketing insights regarding competitive products, industry distribution changes, and customer preferences or requirements.

• Prepare and submit weekly reports as well as special reports that highlight issues at specific sites and/or with customers or products.

• Interpret technical instructions presented in mathematical or diagram formats.

• Relay information and address inquiries from customers, clients, the general public, and colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three to five years of relevant experience in the water systems industry (preferred).

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience (required).

• Willingness to travel 70 percent of the time, including up to 50 percent of overnight travel.

• Capability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers, clients, the general public, and colleagues.
