Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Organize and deliver technical training sessions for distributor personnel, contractors, dealers, and installers.

• Diagnose and resolve issues with Franklin Electric products.

• Oversee and support product installation efforts.

• Advocate for and showcase Franklin Electric products and initiatives at trade shows and special events.

• Perform product demonstrations as required.

• Gather and report marketing insights regarding competitive products, industry distribution changes, personnel updates, and customer requirements.

• Prepare and submit weekly reports along with special reports that highlight issues at sites or with customers or products.

• Understand and interpret technical instructions in both mathematical and diagram formats and work with both abstract and concrete variables.

• Provide information and respond to inquiries from customers, clients, the public, and colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience (required).

• Three to five years of experience in the water systems industry or a related field (preferred).

• Must reside in the Northeast region of the United States.

• Willingness to travel 70% of the time, including up to 50% overnight travel.

• Capability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form.

• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers, clients, the public, and colleagues.
