Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Organize and deliver technical training for distributor staff, contractors, dealers, and/or installers.

• Evaluate and troubleshoot Franklin Electric products.

• Oversee and support product installations.

• Promote and advocate for Franklin Electric products and initiatives at trade shows and special events.

• Perform product demonstrations as necessary.

• Gather and report marketing intelligence on competing products, changes in industry distribution or personnel, and customer preferences or requirements.

• Prepare and submit weekly and special reports detailing issues at specific locations and/or with customers or products.

• Interpret technical guidelines in both mathematical and diagrammatic forms while handling abstract and concrete variables.

• Provide information and respond to inquiries from customers, clients, the general public, and staff.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must live in the Northeast region of the United States.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience (mandatory).

• Three to five years of experience in related water systems or industry (preferred).

• Willingness to travel 70 percent of the time, including up to 50 percent overnight travel.

• Capability to evaluate and troubleshoot Franklin Electric products.

• Proficiency in interpreting technical instructions in mathematical or diagram formats.

• Effective communication skills with customers, clients, the general public, and staff.

• Self-driven, collaborative, hardworking, competitive, and results-focused.

• Ability to establish and utilize cross-functional relationships.
