Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Provide support to the installed base of Control Systems on both physical and virtual infrastructure platforms.

• Assist in process control.

• Configure, support, and implement DeltaV Control Systems.

• Configure, support, and implement Cybersecurity systems.

• Lead technical tasks related to Project Execution Management (PEM).

• Lead technical activities InHouse related to control, communications, and cybersecurity.

• Execute InHouse engineering configuration tasks for Control, Communications, and Cybersecurity.

• Supervise the implementation carried out by less skilled engineers.

• Provide support for network equipment configurations within the organization and other regions in the Americas.

• Maintain effective communication among maintenance support structures for clients, SureService, and Guardian Support.

• Manage the administrative and financial oversight of Project Managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.

• At least 3 years of experience as a Control Systems Service Engineer.

• Minimum of 2 years working with DeltaV systems.

• At least 1 year of experience in Cybersecurity and virtualization systems.

• Minimum of 5 years in Control Systems.

• Intermediate level of English proficiency.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Office.

• Skills in tuning control loops.

• Ability to read P&IDs.

• Experience with Emerson products: PK Controller Standalone, EIOC, VIM, WIOC, and Gateway.

• Knowledge of plant communication protocols: Modbus, OPC, Fieldbus, and EthernetIP.
