Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Dakota.

📋 Description

• Service a variety of MR, CT, Cath/Angio, Nuclear Medicine, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound systems.

• Conduct periodic maintenance inspections in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications.

• Perform initial calibration and certification for newly installed systems.

• Complete all necessary documentation related to equipment installation, maintenance, service, and parts replacement.

• Collaborate with service and sales management to foresee future service requirements.

• Manage parts inventory in compliance with policy.

• Travel using a company-provided vehicle to healthcare facilities within your designated territory (a valid driver’s license and adherence to Fleet Policy are required).

• Fly occasionally for training at different locations, including some outside the United States (must possess or be willing to obtain a valid passport).

• Be available on-call at designated intervals to address system downtime during non-business hours.

• Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned or required by the manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a two-year degree in electronics (Technical school or Associate's Degree) or equivalent work experience is required.

• Field service experience in the medical imaging industry is preferred but not mandatory.

• Proficient in the use of hand tools and performing mechanical tasks.

• Ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Capable of working in a relatively unstructured environment where priorities frequently change.
