
Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
• Service a variety of systems including MR, CT, Cath/Angio, Nuclear Medicine, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound.
• Conduct periodic maintenance inspections in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications.
• Carry out initial calibration and certification of newly installed systems.
• Complete all essential documentation associated with equipment installation, servicing, and parts replacement.
• Collaborate with service and sales management to forecast future service requirements.
• Manage parts inventory in compliance with company policy.
• Travel using a company-provided vehicle to healthcare facilities within your designated territory (a valid driver’s license and adherence to the Fleet Policy are necessary).
• Occasionally travel by airplane for training sessions at various locations, including some international travel (must possess or be willing to obtain a valid passport).
• Be on call at scheduled intervals to address potential system failures during non-business hours.
• Execute other tasks and responsibilities as assigned or required by your manager.
• A minimum of a two-year degree in electronics (Technical school or Associate Degree) or equivalent professional experience.
• Preferred, but not mandatory, field service experience in the medical imaging industry.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and capable of performing mechanical tasks.
• Ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Capability to work in a somewhat unstructured environment where priorities frequently change.
• Must be able to handle chemicals and high-voltage equipment.
• May encounter human body fluids or solids when working with equipment.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required.
