This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Acquire in-depth expertise in SCIENION instrumentation, software, and applications.
• Execute on-site installations, repairs, preventive maintenance, and system enhancements.
• Perform Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), Installation Qualification, and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Offer both on-site and remote technical assistance for customer inquiries.
• Record service activities, helpdesk tickets, customer concerns, and follow-up actions.
• Provide fundamental instrument training within the first year of employment.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to address or escalate issues.
• Manage an adequate inventory of spare parts.
• Prepare and submit monthly expense reports.
• Represent SCIENION in a professional manner with customers.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and property issued by the company.
• Report recurring technical challenges to Product Management and R&D.
• Travel up to 80% overnight as necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Background in automated liquid handling systems, multiplex assays, or electromechanical/optical systems.
• Skilled in using multimeters, oscilloscopes, wrenches, soldering irons, and diagnostic tools.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Capacity to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Excellent organizational and computer skills (Windows; experience with LabVIEW is advantageous).
• Adherence to safety, environmental, and quality policies.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in lab/cleanroom settings.
• Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.
