Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Carry out on-site installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair of Agilent and third-party systems.

• Enhance system configurations and address performance issues.

• Provide preventive maintenance, upgrades, and urgent repairs.

• Respond swiftly to service requests and maintain proactive communication with customers throughout the service process.

• Offer guidance to customers on preventive maintenance and configuration best practices to ensure optimal performance.

• Work collaboratively with managers and sales teams to align service delivery with customer expectations.

• Maintain adherence to Agilent policies and uphold our commitment to exceptional customer service.

• Supply feedback to Product Specialists, manufacturing teams, and OEM vendors regarding performance discrepancies.

• Accurately document service activities, time, and expenses in SAP and other systems.

• Educate customers and fellow engineers on equipment operation and maintenance.

• Assist in handling complaints and quality systems as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma, military training, associate degree, or pertinent college coursework in electronics or a related field is required.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related science field is advantageous.

• Over 4 years of experience in a similar position or as an end user of clinical/analytical instrumentation in regulated laboratory settings.

• Practical experience with instrumentation maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair is preferred.

• Familiarity with Agilent biopsy tissue stainers is a benefit.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficient in computer systems; able to analyze data using Excel (including pivot tables) and complete online training modules.
