Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Accountable for assisting customers through on-site tasks such as the installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair of company and multi-vendor system solutions, which encompass hardware, software, and networking products.

• Installs and enhances hardware/software/network products and configurations at customer locations.

• Identifies and resolves product performance issues.

• Conducts maintenance and repair services.

• Guarantees customer satisfaction by guiding clients on preventive maintenance and configurations.

• Provides comprehensive integrated solutions, which may comprise peripherals, communications, operating systems, and application software.

• Acts as an internal resource for technical matters and manages product escalations.

• Collaborates with Agilent teams including Support, Sales, Marketing, and R&D to offer solutions to clients.

• May conduct internal technical training and maintenance seminars and workshops for field engineers or clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in chemistry, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, or another life science field is required; candidates with a comparable blend of education, training, and relevant experience may also be considered.

• Over 2 years of relevant work experience, including familiarity with analytical instrumentation, automation, and dissolution.

• Capability to manage complex repairs, installations, and scheduled services (PM/OQ) in a customer-facing role.

• Proficiency in solving significant problems related to product availability; generally focused on systems/solutions.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Strong customer relationship abilities are necessary.

• Must be willing to travel overnight up to 75% of the time.

• A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position.
