Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Accuray is on the lookout for a Field Service Engineer, based in a home office within the Veneto region, preferably in Vicenza (Italy).

• The role entails front-line accountability for installations, remote and on-site diagnostics before repair services, along with periodic maintenance visits to Accuray systems.

• You will diagnose and troubleshoot issues on advanced software, electronic, and mechanical robotic devices at clinical locations and major hospitals.

• The position requires independent work and effective communication skills.

• You should be comfortable with extensive travel (up to 50% travel time), often on short notice, and be ready to provide after-hours support.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent experience is required.

• Ideally, you should have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Field Service, specifically in the installation and troubleshooting of complex electronic equipment, preferably within the medical care industry.

• Proficient hardware and software computer skills, including knowledge of networking, are essential.

• You must possess the ability to quickly adapt to new software tools.

• The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and recognize urgency in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is crucial.

• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking in the local language as well as English is required.
