This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Conduct advanced troubleshooting and repairs on assigned MR and other specified equipment.
• Execute installation, validation, and maintenance tasks on designated equipment.
• Lead, mentor, and assist less experienced Field Engineers.
• Offer coaching and constructive feedback to team members.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customer communications and serve as an escalation resource.
• Take ownership of customer issues from the point of dispatch or identification all the way through to resolution.
• Keep team members updated on the status of issues.
• Lead and convey initiatives at the HQ, Zone, and Area levels.
• Co-lead regular team or modality meetings.
• Suggest value-added services to customers.
• Maintain logs of customer service interactions and internal service records.
• Order necessary repair parts and manage associated cycle times.
• Define and execute corrective action plans with regional and national support.
• Participate as a member and leader within account communities for assigned accounts.
• Engage with commercial partners, identify sales leads, and take part in sales opportunities.
• Support revenue initiatives and contribute to business growth.
• Stay updated on competitor information and market trends.
• Assist with growth and deployment strategies.
• Provide application training to clinical or scientific staff when required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of experience in servicing electrical equipment; OR equivalent military education combined with 4+ years of experience; OR a High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of experience in servicing electrical equipment.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience under the degree or equivalent military education pathways; 8 years required under the high school diploma/GED pathway.
• Experience in interfacing with internal team members and external customers in a solution-oriented service process.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
• Experienced in troubleshooting and responding to customer inquiries and concerns.
• Familiarity with web applications and Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass GEHC's standard background check and post-offer drug screening.
• Must adhere to customer access policies, including necessary immunizations and any additional drug tests or background checks when required.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Availability to work after-hours and/or on a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.
• Capability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. without assistance.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch or squat, kneel or crawl, and maintain prolonged sitting and standing positions.
• Skill in reaching at, above, and below shoulder level; flexing or extending the neck; and maintaining dexterity in hands and fingers.
