Field Scientist – MSAT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Deliver both technical pre-sales and post-sales assistance for the integration of Cytiva filtration technologies into client processes.

• Work in collaboration with the commercial team and research & development.

• Utilize normal flow filtration and tangential flow filtration products to devise innovative process solutions.

• Execute feasibility assessments, technical consultations, customer training, and bench-scale trials.

• Maintain continuous customer engagement throughout projects to ensure successful implementation and high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Travel to customer locations for technical meetings, execution of test work, technical presentations, and project evaluations.

• Offer technical consultation regarding scale-up and scale-down studies, testing strategies, data analysis, process sizing, compatibility recommendations, troubleshooting, and field investigations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, or a related field in science or engineering.

• Over 3 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical sector, particularly within MSAT, Process Development, Manufacturing, or a related technical role.

• Proven experience in providing technical support and engaging directly with clients.

• Proficiency in Spanish, both written and spoken.

• Business-level proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to support clients across Europe, especially in Spanish-speaking regions and other key European markets.

• Preferred: Familiarity with the regulatory framework governing drug manufacturing and biopharmaceutical production.

• Preferred: Understanding of purification and filtration techniques utilized in bioprocessing and drug manufacturing.

• Preferred: Proficiency in an additional European language (e.g., German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, or another European language).
