Field Application Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Offer scientific expertise and technical support to clients.

• Act as a reliable technical advisor for clients utilizing advanced technologies.

• Provide both pre-sales and post-sales assistance.

• Execute product demonstrations and conduct hands-on training sessions.

• Deliver troubleshooting support and technical consultation.

• Collaborate closely with sales teams and cross-functional partners.

• Assist clients in maximizing technology utilization across various scientific domains.

• Foster long-lasting customer relationships that contribute to business success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced Degree with no prior experience necessary, or a Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of practical laboratory experience using relevant instrumentation and applications.

• Preferred fields of study include Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, or related disciplines.

• Hands-on experience with imaging, protein detection, or automated sample preparation is mandatory.

• Experience in imaging and/or protein detection; familiarity with automated sample preparation is an advantage.

• Proven expertise in field application support, customer training, and technical troubleshooting.

• Exceptional presentation and communication skills for conveying technical information to varied audiences.

• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating across different functions.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.

• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and relevant scientific software.

• Fluency in both Italian and English is required.

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently (50–75% of the time).

• Reside within a one-hour driving distance from a major airport (Rome, Milan, Naples, or Venice).

• Experience in data analysis, experimental design, and method development.

• Extensive technical knowledge of the specific product portfolio and its applications.

• Awareness of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated dedication to customer satisfaction and lifelong learning.
