This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Conduct loan analysis verification tasks through both inbound phone support and managing outbound pipelines.
• Collaborate with customers, bankers, vendors, and underwriters.
• Assist customers and bankers in comprehending the loan approval process and underwriting criteria.
• Evaluate specific loan transactions and assess documentation for approval.
• Address operational challenges effectively.
• Implement necessary stipulations to facilitate the efficient progression of loans through the approval process.
• Complete and uphold registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) in accordance with the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of one year of relevant industry experience.
• Registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) is mandatory under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z.
• Background and credit checks are required as part of the NMLS registration process.
• Familiarity with underwriting and loan origination processes, systems, procedures, products, services, and pertinent Federal and State laws and regulations.
• Understanding of credit products, programs, financial analysis, and associated documentation.
• Knowledge of U.S. Bank policies and procedures related to Direct Lending processing and underwriting.
• Proficiency in using U.S. Bank systems to access loan status information.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service abilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines concurrently.
• Ability to adhere to U.S. Bank policies, the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, and workplace conduct and safety regulations.
