This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Lead Independent specialists and physical stores across all channels while enhancing existing commercial partnerships.
• Actively pursue new strategic account Trade Partners and Independent customers (GPK).
• Assist Key Account Managers with their national customer networks (e.g., furniture, electrical retail, department stores, and grocery).
• Cultivate a robust network and foster customer relationships to boost partner engagement and loyalty to the brand.
• Drive sales and profitability through the implementation of market strategies, creation of sales concepts, and effective business management, delivering compelling sales presentations.
• Secure product listings, design impactful promotions, execute Planogram and POS strategies, optimize sales conditions, accurately forecast demand, and resolve customer issues in alignment with JJ’s brand and market strategies.
• Collaborate efficiently with internal stakeholders such as trade marketing, customer service, demand planning, finance, and controlling to ensure a shared understanding of customer needs and JJ’s go-to-market strategy.
• Actively engage in annual agreements and pricing negotiations, documenting outcomes and follow-ups.
• Participate in industry fairs (e.g., Ambiente, TrendSet, EK Live, etc.), specific events, and sales meetings.
• Continuously benchmark and gather market and shopper insights within your accounts, providing feedback to the Country Manager, Key Account Managers, and the Global Headquarter in the UK.
• Strong background in sales/channel management as a Field Sales Representative or relevant retail experience.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in business administration/economics or a comparable professional qualification, or over 7 years of sales experience.
• Proven track record in successful sales management and business development.
• Strongly established relationships and networks within accounts/channels are preferred, though not mandatory if there is a willingness to engage and develop connections.
• Experience in a premium branded business is preferred.
• Proficient in building and managing forecasts and budgets.
• Background in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing Regional or National key accounts/customers.
• Intercultural experience and background in project environments.
• Understanding of trade marketing, including sales planning and promotions.
• Knowledge of accounts in the housewares market.
• Fluency in German and English is required.
• High flexibility and willingness to travel.
