This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Reach out to existing customers while identifying potential new clients in the Aerospace and Defense sector within the Connecticut region.
• Oversee comprehensive account relationships by providing strategic service and support.
• Enhance profit margins, expand market presence, and promote value-added solution selling.
• Identify key segments and prospective customers within the Aerospace and Defense market.
• Develop a territory strategy and cultivate essential relationships for solution selling.
• Foster and maintain relationships with customer contacts.
• Address design challenges and ongoing business issues.
• Ensure customer satisfaction regarding supply chain management and value-added services.
• Establish partnerships with significant suppliers.
• Prepare internal quarterly business reviews, including strategic plans and implementation steps.
• Facilitate regular QBRs with major clients to uncover additional sales opportunities.
• Travel within the assigned territory and visit an Arrow office when requested by leadership.
• 5-7 years of field sales experience in the industry is essential.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry is desirable.
• Comprehensive understanding of the electronic components industry is required.
• Familiarity with the assigned market/territory, including clients and competition, is crucial.
• Capability to promote and sell value-added, supply chain, and full life cycle programs provided by Arrow.
• Ability to create strategic plans for designated accounts and effectively market Arrow’s offerings.
• Deep knowledge of Arrow’s key supplier lines is necessary.
• Demonstrated ability to articulate complex strategies and execute them effectively.
• Extensive familiarity with pricing programs and models within the electronics sector.
• Experience interacting with vendors and customers in technical and engineering settings.
• Competence in preparing detailed internal quarterly business reviews and leading regular QBRs with major clients.
• Proficiency in sales tracking systems, including Salesforce.com and Oracle.
• Eligibility for an export license or status as a U.S. Person, as the role involves work governed by International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
