This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +5 more states.
• Serve as a representative for Baxter’s Advanced Surgery division and its array of surgical products.
• Assume responsibility for the recruitment quota within the designated area.
• Lead small teams to enhance the adoption of selling techniques, clinical expertise, and best practices.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to peers and sales representatives through one-on-one calls, field rides, coaching reports, and quarterly business reviews.
• Guide new hires throughout their onboarding journey via both remote and in-person supervision.
• Instruct on Commercial Selling Skills, Customer Knowledge, and Product Knowledge.
• Develop educational content and experiences for both seasoned and new advanced surgery sales representatives.
• Collaborate with the Director of Global Commercial Training and Area Vice President to identify, plan, and implement training programs.
• Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions for internal customer groups.
• Lead Baxter Advanced Surgery training sessions that focus on clinical and practical sales knowledge.
• Assist with regional and national sales meetings.
• Coordinate new product training and update existing training materials as needed.
• Support local healthcare professional education initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or 8+ years of experience in operating room sales.
• Proven experience in hospital-based selling within the operating room setting.
• Experience in coaching, training, or mentoring peers effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, or train small teams and foster measurable performance improvements.
• Familiarity with adult-learning methodologies.
• Experience in managing or developing medical education programs and content.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service capabilities.
• Solid creative problem-solving and influence-management abilities.
• Capacity to coordinate and engage in multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while adhering to deadlines.
• Must reside near a major metropolitan airport.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must have authorization to work for any employer in the United States.
