
Field Sales Performance Manager – Central Region

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +6 more states.
• Represent the Advanced Surgery division of Baxter and its surgical product offerings.
• Foster the development of sales talent while enhancing clinical and commercial capabilities within the organization.
• Participate in the area leadership team and cultivate a culture of ongoing learning and high performance.
• Take responsibility for the quota of new hires in the region and lead small teams effectively.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to peers and sales representatives through supervision, one-on-one calls, field rides, field coaching reports, and quarterly business reviews.
• Guide new hires during their onboarding process, both remotely and in person.
• Instruct on Commercial Selling Skills, Customer Knowledge, and Product Knowledge.
• Develop educational content and experiences for both seasoned and new advanced surgery sales representatives.
• Collaborate with the Director of Global Commercial Training and the Area Vice President to identify, strategize, and implement training programs.
• Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions for internal customer groups.
• Facilitate Baxter Advanced Surgery training that emphasizes clinical and practical sales expertise.
• Support regional and national sales meetings.
• Organize training for new products and refresh existing training materials.
• A Bachelor’s degree along with 5+ years of applicable experience, OR 8+ years of experience in operating room sales.
• Proven experience in hospital-based selling within the operating room environment.
• Background in coaching, training, or mentoring peers.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, or train small teams while driving measurable performance improvements.
• Understanding of adult-learning principles and methodologies.
• Experience in managing or developing medical education programs and materials.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent creative problem-solving and influence-management capabilities.
• Capacity to manage and engage in multiple projects in a dynamic environment while adhering to deadlines.
• Residency near a major metropolitan airport is required.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary.
