This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of Tax & Accounting products, including their features, benefits, pricing, intended use, value proposition, and competitive stance by actively participating in the training program for new hires; complete all self-study reading, exercises, and activities within the designated timeline.

• Understand and execute the sales process for Tax & Accounting products and services by staying updated on the prescribed sales methodology and achieving sales targets.

• Oversee a designated account list that supports a robust sales pipeline by reviewing the provided target list; categorize customers by segment and opportunity (e.g., size, type of firm); gather contact information for decision-makers and influencers; create daily and weekly calling lists, make corresponding calls; and maintain information in Salesforce CRM adhering to timing and content standards.

• Foster new account/customer development to achieve ongoing sales objectives and conduct prospecting/introduction calls to establish a full calendar of in-person/virtual meetings; engage in industry events, trade shows, and sales meetings; and deliver group presentations to generate interest in products and services.

• Expand existing customer business to meet ongoing sales targets by reaching out to or meeting with clients to understand their needs and communicate the value provided by existing WK solutions.

• Contribute to new product development and resolution of issues that align with customer needs by pinpointing gaps/issues where current products fall short of client requirements; collaborate with Product Managers to translate unmet client needs into functional specifications; manage client expectations regarding the timing, delivery, and scope of product enhancements.

• Enhance TAA market share within the territory by identifying opportunities in target accounts using competitive products and engaging our client accounts at the management and executive levels to uncover business challenges.

• Allocate time and resources effectively to meet sales goals by planning and scheduling all necessary sales activities and logically grouping activities (e.g., conducting in-person meetings in the same area on the same or consecutive days).

• Collaborate with colleagues to share information, such as selling strategies and marketing insights.

• Work alongside other sales personnel and the Division Sales Manager to resolve account/channel conflicts.

• Create an Annual Business Plan based on accurate pipeline forecasts, mid-year business updates, weekly reports, and quarterly projections.

• Engage in weekly communication with the Divisional Sales Manager.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field; OR, if no degree, a minimum of 6 years of experience in software/SaaS field sales.

• At least 5 years of B2B sales experience, including:

• Sales experience with on-premise/cloud software, SaaS business applications, or content information.

• Developing and qualifying prospect lists.

• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding quotas and sales goals.

• Experience in developing and implementing business plans and forecasts.

• Ability to convert contacts gained through networking into viable business opportunities.

• Experience making in-person presentations to prospective clients to articulate products and services and their alignment with our client's needs.

• Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce.com; SalesLogix).
