• Deliver comprehensive sales coverage for the designated territory, successfully closing business deals.
• Provide management with consistent updates on the business landscape within the territory.
• Identify new business opportunities while nurturing the loyalty of the existing customer base.
• Build and sustain professional relationships across all levels of the customer’s organization.
• Plan and carry out customer visits and presentations effectively.
• Formulate strategies to enhance HBK’s presence in sectors such as automotive, military, machinery, and other markets.
• Possess a strong technical understanding of key HBK products, with the capability to perform basic hardware and software demonstrations.
• Engage in regional trade shows and conferences to promote products.
• Create and maintain sales forecasts in close collaboration with the inside sales team.
• Collaborate closely with product marketing to pinpoint key applications where HBK delivers distinct value.
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical Engineering (EE), or another technical field in engineering (electrical, mechanical, aeronautical) or physical science is strongly preferred.
• Practical knowledge and experience in selling products related to acoustics, sound/vibration measurement, instrumentation, test and measurement, or sensors.
• Must be self-driven, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, alongside the technical aptitude to learn a diverse range of products, are essential.
• Background in instrumentation, testing, data acquisition, or acoustics is required.
• Proven ability and experience in demonstrating technical products to clients.
• Demonstrated success in sales with a minimum of 5 years of experience meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• A successful track record of working from a home office with minimal supervision.
