This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
• Deliver comprehensive sales coverage within the territory, successfully closing deals.
• Provide ongoing feedback regarding the business environment in the territory to management.
• Identify new business opportunities while fostering loyalty among the existing customer base.
• Establish and nurture professional selling relationships at all levels within the customer's organization.
• Plan and carry out customer visits and presentations effectively.
• Formulate strategies to enhance HBK’s presence in sectors such as automotive, military, machinery, and other market segments.
• Possess a strong technical understanding of essential HBK products, enabling basic hardware and software demonstrations.
• Engage in regional trade shows and conferences as a representative of the company.
• Create and maintain sales forecasts in close collaboration with inside sales.
• Collaborate with product marketing to pinpoint key applications where HBK provides distinct value.
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical Engineering (EE), or another technical field in engineering or physical sciences is highly preferred.
• Familiarity and experience in selling one or more of the following: acoustics, sound/vibration measurement, instrumentation, test and measurement products, or sensors.
• Self-motivated, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the technical aptitude to learn a diverse product line is essential.
• Background in instrumentation, testing, or data acquisition, as well as acoustics.
• Experience and capability in demonstrating technical products effectively.
• Proven sales experience with a minimum of 5 years, consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• A successful track record of working from a home office with minimal supervision.
