This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +4 more states.
• Report to the Region Director and assist the field sales organization in enhancing operational efficiency and driving sales growth.
• Reduce non-selling activities and enhance connectivity within the sales team.
• Support significant sales initiatives from their inception to execution, including both regional and national implementations.
• Provide reporting and data analysis for customer business reviews, RFPs, unmanaged freight initiatives, cross-referencing, and ad-hoc presentations.
• Complete field sales training and onboarding programs, which include FST and Advanced Corporate Training.
• Manage customer engagements across open territories within the designated region.
• Identify, qualify, prepare, and implement sales strategies to sustain existing business while supporting competitive and revenue growth opportunities.
• Utilize and update sales tools to analyze business trends, develop call strategies, and manage territory and strategic business plans.
• Generate leads and discover new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with field sales, marketing, and sales operations teams on product and portfolio initiatives.
• Cultivate relationships with Marketing, Customer Service, and other internal stakeholder groups.
• Participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows.
• Master all products and applications while demonstrating ongoing proficiency.
• Stay informed about the industry and competitive landscape.
• Fulfill administrative requirements, such as expenses, compliance, CRM, and SFDC.
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a sales or marketing role is preferred.
• Ability to comprehend complex products and services and create effective business presentations and/or management reporting deliverables.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in business applications, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and Salesforce.
• Customer-focused, results-driven, action-oriented, and possessing a strong work ethic.
• High career ambition with a desire to advance within the organization.
• Willingness to travel domestically as necessary and within the region, often requiring overnight stays.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Willingness to relocate regionally within 24 months of employment.
