This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Oversee and advocate for safe work practices throughout ongoing construction projects
• Create, implement, and uphold safety plans tailored to specific projects
• Perform site safety inspections, audits, and risk evaluations
• Provide safety training sessions, toolbox discussions, and individualized coaching
• Ensure adherence to safety standards set by the company, clients, and regulatory bodies
• Assist in incident investigations, root cause analyses, and the implementation of corrective measures
• Examine safety performance data to pinpoint areas for enhancement
• Foster strong relationships with project teams, contractors, and client representatives
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction safety management
• At least one (1) year of experience in Electric Transmission & Distribution (ET&D) or high voltage construction safety management
• Possess, or be willing to obtain, a Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) Certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP)
• Completed OSHA 30 (Construction) training and current certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Capability to work independently and positively influence safe practices in the field
• Willingness to work in outdoor construction settings and travel or relocate as necessary
