This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Lead and advocate for safe work methodologies across ongoing construction projects.
• Create, implement, and uphold safety plans tailored to specific projects.
• Perform site safety observations, audits, and risk evaluations.
• Provide safety training, conduct toolbox discussions, and offer one-on-one coaching sessions.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards set by the company, clients, and regulatory bodies.
• Assist in incident investigations, root cause analyses, and the implementation of corrective measures.
• Evaluate safety performance metrics and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
• Cultivate strong relationships with project teams, contractors, and client representatives.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction safety management.
• At least one year of experience in Electric Transmission & Distribution (ET&D) or high voltage construction safety management.
• Possess, or be willing to obtain, a Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) Certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).
• Completed OSHA 30 (Construction) training and current certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of working independently and influencing safe practices in the field.
• Willingness to work in outdoor construction settings and travel or relocate as necessary.
