This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Oversee and advocate for safe work practices throughout ongoing construction projects
• Create, execute, and sustain safety plans tailored to specific projects
• Perform site safety inspections, audits, and risk evaluations
• Provide safety training, toolbox discussions, and personalized coaching
• Ensure adherence to safety standards set by the company, clients, and regulatory bodies
• Assist in incident investigations, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective measures
• Evaluate safety performance metrics and pinpoint areas for enhancement
• Cultivate strong relationships with project teams, contractors, and client representatives
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction safety management
• At least one year of experience in Electric Transmission & Distribution (ET&D) or high voltage construction safety management
• Possess or be willing to obtain a Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) Certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP)
• Completed OSHA 30 (Construction) training and current certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work independently and promote safe practices in the field
• Willingness to work in outdoor construction settings and travel or relocate as necessary
