This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Proactively tackle patient access challenges by collaborating with customers and accounts to resolve intricate reimbursement issues, including prior authorizations, appeals, and denials.
• Provide education to private practices, multi-specialty groups, facilities, and their staff regarding reimbursement support programs, coverage, coding, and payer policies.
• Responsible for ensuring that access barriers are minimized for eligible patients seeking Invivyd products through healthcare provider education.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of payer policies and effectively navigate the coverage landscape.
• Deliver clear and actionable insights to practice managers, billing personnel, nurses, and reimbursement teams to enhance their understanding of payer policies and processes.
• Conduct regular evaluations with practices to assess their use of reimbursement support services and suggest program improvements based on customer feedback.
• Report payer trends related to approved products to Patient Services and Market Access account management teams.
• Have an in-depth understanding of coverage pathways for accessing both medical and pharmacy benefit products.
• Possess a deep understanding of the Medicare reimbursement landscape.
• Provide expertise within the national/regional payer landscape to educate providers on navigating the reimbursement process and understanding payer trends.
• Train healthcare professionals on the drug reimbursement process, coding, and billing practices.
• Manage access and reimbursement issues by involving the appropriate Invivyd stakeholders. Stay updated on pertinent business trends, competitive landscapes, regulatory changes, and healthcare policy developments that may affect our clients.
• Utilize market insights to predict customer needs and formulate strategies that maintain a competitive advantage.
• Demonstrate executive presence to present insights and trends to commercial and executive leadership.
• Ensure all activities and interactions comply with relevant pharmaceutical regulations, industry standards, and ethical guidelines.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; candidates without a degree but with substantial relevant industry experience will be considered.
• Over 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology fields, with a background in Market Access, Payer Account Management, and/or Access and Reimbursement.
• Ability to create strategic account plans and manage contract performance to ensure ongoing business viability.
• Proven history of success in meeting or exceeding business KPIs.
• Familiarity with the formulary inclusion process and knowledge of sub-committees.
• Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret sales data, market trends, and customer insights.
• Experience using CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, approximately 60% of the time, to engage with customers and attend industry events.
• Eligible for both an annual short-term incentive (e.g., bonus or sales incentive) and an annual long-term incentive (e.g., equity).
