This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Oversee daily field operations to facilitate optimal patient access at key neurology centers and provider offices.
• Implement a collaborative territory strategy in conjunction with internal and external partners, which may include call center services (HUB), sales, market access, and other collaborators.
• Engage regularly in the field (60-70% of the time) with key stakeholders across various care settings, including physician practices, hospitals, and additional care locations.
• Act as a subject matter expert to educate healthcare provider staff on approved patient access services.
• Work in tandem with diverse internal field teams to guarantee proper education in the designated geographic area.
• Evaluate and inform offices about payer policies such as prior authorization requirements to ensure patient access.
• Analyze patient-specific information in instances where the site has explicitly sought assistance in addressing issues or coverage challenges.
• Provide insights to internal teams regarding local payer trends and access challenges.

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically with payer policy and reimbursement.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in benefit verifications and prior-authorization requirements, or equivalent experience in patient access, billing, and coding—experience with rare diseases is preferred.
• Familiarity with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) policies and processes, particularly in Medicare Part D.
• Ability to work independently, combined with strong organizational capabilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, a consultative approach, and a customer-focused mindset; demonstrated ability to cultivate and sustain strong working relationships with both internal and external clients.
• Proficient communication skills: written, oral, training, and presentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 60-70% of the time.
• A valid driver’s license is required to travel to healthcare provider locations.
