This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Investigate, assess, negotiate, and resolve primarily property claims in a fair, timely, and equitable manner.

• Assess claims to determine the validity of coverage.

• Perform required investigations and estimate damages.

• Research, assess, and clarify policy coverage to clients and third parties.

• Generate settlement documentation.

• Authorize settlement payments based on investigation findings and coverage/liability evaluations.

• Evaluate the worth of damaged items.

• Negotiate settlements with contractors, clients, and third parties.

• Conduct field investigations.

• Recommend resolutions for claims that exceed authority limits.

• Engage and collaborate with external experts, such as engineers and valuation vendors, as needed.

• Provide support to clients throughout the claims process and as they rebuild their businesses and lives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing or have obtained a four-year degree.

• Capable of effectively managing work with minimal supervision.

• Strong analytical, computer, and time management abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.

• Must reside, or be willing to relocate, within 1 hour of a major airport.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

• Federated will not sponsor employment visas.

• Must have the physical mobility, vision, and hearing necessary to navigate and assess claims damage.

• Ability to climb up and down a ladder.

• Capacity to lift, push, and pull items weighing 60 pounds or more.

• Willingness to travel frequently by car and/or plane, including overnight and multi-night trips.

• Flexibility to adjust work schedules and/or work additional hours, including evenings and weekends.
