Field Property Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Investigate and assess homeowners' property claims from initiation through resolution.

• Verify loss details, establish coverage, evaluate damages, and negotiate settlements within the designated authority.

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of claims, including supplements, Additional Living Expense claims, contents, and personal property losses.

• Conduct inspections and prepare damage estimates.

• Review supplements and manage contents claims.

• Support customers with Additional Living Expense coverage inquiries.

• Collaborate closely with customers, contractors, and various partners.

• Provide clear and timely communication, keeping customers informed throughout the claims process.

• Create or review damage estimates for first-party homeowner losses.

• Assess settlement options for compliance with regulations and equitable claims practices.

• Process settlement payments and document activities in complex files spanning multiple lines.

• No supervisory responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Field Property Adjuster.

• Resides within 20 miles of Austin, Texas.

• Proficient in using Xactimate.

• Holds an active adjuster license or is eligible to obtain a reciprocal license as needed.

• Preferred experience working both in the field and remotely.

• In-depth knowledge of policy types underwritten by the company.

• Strong estimating skills for complex first-party homeowner losses.

• Proficient in analytical thinking, customer satisfaction, negotiation, organization, property claims, and Xactimate.

• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Has a dedicated, distraction-free workspace when working from home.

• Suitable desk and seating arrangements for a home office.

• Reliable internet connection with a minimum of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload speeds.
