Field Project Engineer – Orlando, FL Area

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Act as the main engineering liaison during the installation and startup phases of projects.

• Conduct site visits to evaluate conditions and facilitate successful installation.

• Participate in pre-construction meetings, site discussions, and critical project installations.

• Collaborate closely with contractors, engineers, owners, and sales teams throughout the project duration.

• Identify and address on-site challenges while adhering to project timelines.

• Provide assistance to contractors and clients regarding installation best practices and troubleshooting.

• Respond to technical inquiries related to the application and performance of Prinsco products.

• Support projects related to stormwater management, detention, retention, and other water-related initiatives.

• Create project-specific drawings and technical documentation.

• Review project plans and designs to ensure successful application of products.

• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address field performance issues and identify areas for improvement.

• Assist with product testing, field assessments, and quality control initiatives.

• Gather field data and maintain installation records and project documentation.

• Share insights and best practices to enhance future project outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

• At least two years of engineering experience.

• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification is preferred or must be completed.

• Experience working directly with customers, contractors, manufacturing, or within construction projects.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.

• Possess a valid driver's license and be open to traveling up to 50% of the time.
