Field Operations Manager – AV

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Supervise the execution of subcontractors across various job sites, ensuring that work adheres to project specifications, scope, and AV standards.

• Serve as the main on-site liaison for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

• Coordinate site logistics, including the availability of materials, equipment, and the sequencing of installations.

• Track project progress across multiple active sites, identifying risks, delays, or issues and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

• Prioritize site visits based on project requirements, concentrating on critical phases, coordination challenges, or issue resolution.

• Ensure that subcontractors have the necessary information, materials, and guidance for efficient execution.

• Hold subcontractors accountable for quality, safety, and adherence to schedules.

• Collaborate with Project Managers to align field execution with project timelines and milestones.

• Assist with commissioning activities, system verification, and client training as required.

• Provide regular updates on site conditions, progress, and risks to project leadership. This role does not involve hands-on installation but is responsible for ensuring that installation work is carried out effectively by subcontracted field teams.

• Continuously assess procurement processes and vendor performance to identify areas for improvement, cost savings, and enhanced operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in AV, low-voltage, or construction fieldwork.

• 2–5 years of experience in coordinating or managing subcontractors, field teams, or job site operations.

• Proven experience in supporting or leading execution across multiple concurrent projects.
