Field Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee Cisco Meraki solutions.

• Provide network engineering assistance across various environments.

• Manage development, testing, and production servers.

• Install, remove, and upgrade software packages as needed.

• Monitor network systems, addressing issues related to functionality, connectivity, and load balancing.

• Contribute to network design, performance enhancement, and optimization efforts.

• Analyze and recommend commercially available hardware and software options.

• Provide hands-on troubleshooting support and technical guidance.

• Identify and resolve operational challenges through data analysis.

• Plan, research, document, and recommend implementations for hardware, software, and network infrastructure.

• Design and conduct performance, stress, and load testing for hardware and software.

• Develop automation solutions using scripting technologies.

• Conduct regular security scans and assessments.

• Research new technologies, products, and technical data.

• Provide Level 2/3 support and troubleshooting services.

• Demonstrated expertise in Cisco Meraki network solutions.

• Strong comprehension of network protocols, security best practices, and infrastructure management.

• Experience in scripting and automation for optimizing network performance.

• Ability to analyze complex technical problems and implement effective solutions.

• Field coverage for Northern England, North Midlands, and Scotland.
