Field Maintenance Technician, Mobile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Conduct repairs, oversee machine installations, and manage spare parts inventory.

• Carry out commissioning and start-up processes for both simple and complex equipment.

• Manage resources associated with the role, including vehicles and tools.

• Prepare detailed intervention reports.

• Execute repair, maintenance, and commissioning tasks as required.

• Assess the type of intervention needed (repair/troubleshooting, maintenance, etc.), the number of machines involved, and the working conditions (such as working at height, exposure to heat, chemicals, electrical work, etc.).

• Prepare spare parts according to the machine specifications and the nature of the intervention.

• Install and commission basic equipment.

• Provide training to customers on both simple and complex machinery.

• Ensure appropriate working conditions for interventions (clean workspace, safety protocols); if conditions are inadequate, request arrangements directly from the client or through your supervisor.

• Identify future needs/interventions to initiate the preparation of a quotation.

• Manage the inventory of spare parts.

• Maintain work equipment in good condition or arrange for repairs when necessary (including vehicles, phones, computers, toolboxes, etc.).

• Assist customer service with inquiries, complaints, or disputes from customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a vocational baccalaureate (Bac Pro) / BTS in Electromechanics or an equivalent qualification.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and layout plans.

• Skilled in mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical techniques, with a preference for automation knowledge.

• Capable of working independently to achieve optimal efficiency.

• Proficiency in English is an advantage.
