Field Inspector I – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assist with inspection duties for RBA event TAL and online photo-only items at RBA facilities.

• Utilize the inspector application to gather information and capture high-quality images of static equipment.

• Gather general specifications, feature details, and photographs for parts, tools, attachments, and materials.

• Support Level 2, 3, and 4 inspectors in preparation tasks for inspections.

• Organize daily tasks to enhance operational efficiency.

• Choose the appropriate TAL / PO inspection checklists to ensure accuracy of content.

• Communicate effectively to resolve issues related to equipment identification and readiness.

• Ensure the usability of inspection devices by applying best-practice methods.

• Assist with activities on auction day.

• Organize resources and aid in preparing equipment for sale.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma is mandatory.

• A college degree is preferred.

• Proficient in using the inspector application to collect general specifications, feature information, and photographs.

• Capable of selecting appropriate TAL / PO inspection checklists.

• Effective communication skills to address and resolve equipment identification and readiness issues.

• Ability to apply best-practice techniques to maintain the usability of inspection devices.

• Contractors are compensated per piece inspected and for mileage.

• First complete inspection at one location: $150.

• Each subsequent inspection within 10 miles of the first location: $30-$60.

• Full-day rate: $250.

• Half-day rate: $125.

• On-the-job training available for development towards a Level 2 role.
