Field Engineer IV

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the initiation and commissioning of new refrigeration and gas processing facilities.

• Lead troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance operations for intricate gas compression systems.

• Mentor junior field engineers, offering guidance on industry best practices.

• Prepare comprehensive work order reports and supervise documentation workflows.

• Engage in project planning and resource allocation activities.

• Analyze and address complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic challenges.

• Conduct training sessions for technicians and customers focusing on equipment operation and advanced troubleshooting techniques.

• Serve as a primary contact for customers concerning technical inquiries and service requirements.

• Formulate service strategies aimed at improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

• Maintain organization and cleanliness at job sites and with equipment.

• Record service calls and keep precise documentation of the services rendered.

• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies during all service operations.

• Create, update, monitor, and finalize commissioning reports.

• Comply with all Mayekawa company policies, procedures, processes, work instructions, and guidelines.

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

• In-depth knowledge of refrigeration and control systems.

• Proficient in interpreting wiring diagrams and mechanical schematics.

• Demonstrated leadership in project management and team coordination.

• Strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.

• Excellent organizational and planning capabilities.

• Proficiency in diagnostic tools and software.

• Familiarity with screw compressors and fundamental electrical troubleshooting, including ammonia refrigeration and Freon systems.

• Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to foster positive relationships with clients and team members.

• Highly driven with a readiness to travel for work purposes.
