This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify electromechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and systems challenges.
• Identify technical solutions based on product and customer specifications.
• Perform technical analysis regarding product implementations, modifications, and enhancements.
• Evaluate customer requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
• Deliver technical training and product briefings to customers, vendors, and company representatives.
• Serve as the local on-site representative for customers.
• Oversee territory responsibilities, including preventive maintenance and software and hardware upgrades.
• Provide service support in hospital and clinic laboratory settings.
• Manage individual parts inventory.
• Complete online training and administrative expense reporting tasks.
• Execute other work-related duties as assigned.
• A minimum of an Associate's degree in Electronics or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent 4 years of military or field service experience is required.
• At least 4 years of experience in installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying electromechanical equipment is necessary.
• Experience in the field is preferred.
• A team player who is self-motivated and interacts effectively with peers, sales colleagues, and customers.
• Ability to clearly organize and express ideas verbally and in writing, in both individual and group settings.
• Relevant technical expertise in electro-mechanical, chemistry, computer, and/or related fields.
• Capability to apply technical knowledge to competently execute required job functions.
• Ability to manage assigned workload within specified time constraints.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• A valid driver's license is always required.
• Willingness to travel overnight 50–75% to Rochester, NY during the initial training period.
• After training, ability to travel up to 75% within the territory, with occasional overnight travel of 1–2 nights per week.
• Currently not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry is preferred.
• Must meet customer credentialing requirements, which may involve up-to-date immunizations.
• Ability to work independently in a home office setting.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle suitable for customer sites and airports.
• Physically capable of traveling up to 75% of the time.
• Required vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to use hands for tasks such as handling, feeling, and communicating effectively.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, sit, kneel, squat, or balance as necessary.
