This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Onboard new Striim customers by providing education, solution strategies, technical enablement, and implementation guidance throughout the deployment process.
• Guide customer technical teams during development stages to implement best practices and tackle enterprise adoption challenges with innovation.
• Facilitate a smooth transition from pre-sales prototypes to post-sales production-scale experiences.
• Collaborate with customer success and account management teams to perform regular health checks with customers, ensuring operational excellence with Striim.
• Act as the Striim product specialist, mentor, and trusted technical advisor during the deployment phase.
• Serve as the internal customer advocate, coordinating with Striim customer support and stakeholders to promote technical advocacy, product advancement, and innovation.
• Proactively engage with existing Striim customers to maximize technology value through increased adoption of the Striim platform, showcasing new applications and use cases.
• Offer technical guidance, training, workshops, presentations, and implementation support in both English and Spanish as per customer requirements.
• Enhance the internal knowledge base by creating and/or updating documentation related to Striim implementations, best practices, troubleshooting, and customer enablement.
• Monitor customer issues, collaborate with support on customer-training-related inquiries, and assist customers in developing and tracking Product Feature Requests (PFRs).
• Provide updates on key account statuses, including escalations, to the manager and Technical Account Manager (if applicable).
• Utilize AI-powered tools for productivity, research, troubleshooting, documentation, and coding assistance to boost efficiency, expedite customer outcomes, and scale technical enablement initiatives.
• Contribute to the assessment, adoption, and ongoing enhancement of AI-assisted workflows and technical best practices across customer-facing engineering functions.
• Travel domestically and internationally, up to 25%, to support customer implementations, technical workshops, strategic business reviews, training sessions, and other customer-facing activities.
• The ideal candidate must be based 100% remotely within the Continental United States.
• Professional fluency in both English and Spanish, including the ability to convey complex technical concepts, deliver presentations, conduct training, and support customer interactions in both languages.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer-facing technical roles, such as Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Data Engineer, Customer Success Engineer, or similar positions.
• At least 3 years of experience with database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and SQL programming.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience programming in languages such as Java, Python, and Shell scripting.
• Over 3 years of experience or extensive foundational knowledge of cloud infrastructure and data services, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proven experience using AI-assisted tools for productivity, development, research, troubleshooting, and code generation (e.g., Claude, OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, enterprise AI platforms, or similar technologies) in daily technical workflows.
• Capability to effectively evaluate, validate, and apply AI-generated outputs while ensuring engineering quality, security, accuracy, and customer trust.
• Solid understanding of working with, configuring, and troubleshooting Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka and JMS.
• Experience in enterprise data environments and mission-critical IT systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Databricks, or contemporary cloud data platforms is an advantage.
• A strong comprehension of modern data integration, data streaming, real-time analytics, and cloud-native architectures is preferred.
• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and customer-facing communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent relevant work experience.
