This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Support the Site Manager in organizing the layout of structural, civil, process, and architectural elements of buildings.
• Aid in the procurement of construction materials and the execution of purchase orders.
• Oversee the delivery of materials, performance of subcontractors, and documentation of receiving reports.
• Conduct on-site surveys for material placement and report quantities on a weekly basis.
• Assist in planning and scheduling construction activities.
• Create bid lists, issue procurement documents, assess bids, and evaluate proposals within two to six months.
• Establish and uphold safety and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) standards.
• Lead safety meetings and act as the on-site safety representative when necessary.
• Review and document shop drawings and submittals.
• Maintain red-line as-built drawings and update construction documents accordingly.
• Manage the job site in the absence of the Site Manager.
• Carry out and document QA/QC audits and address any deficiencies.
• Assist in preparing daily and monthly project reports.
• Make immediate decisions regarding safety and quality, escalating any out-of-specification issues as needed.
• Enforce Gray's safety program and investigate any safety incidents.
• Coordinate with city officials, OSHA, and inspectors to ensure compliance.
• Ensure that inspections are scheduled, performed, and documented properly.
• Manage assigned scopes of work and oversee subcontractors.
• Maintain daily progress drawings using Bluebeam, Excel, or Assemble software.
• Prepare meeting agendas and minutes, distributing them accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate customer-requested changes to both the Site Manager and Project Manager.
• Ensure that subcontractors adhere to contract specifications.
• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, alongside a minimum of 2 years of relevant construction experience, or 4+ years of related construction experience in place of a degree.
• Fundamental computer skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, as well as tablets and smartphones.
• Strong work ethic.

• Willingness and ability to travel to project sites across the United States, and potentially abroad.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship.

• Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed.
• Capacity to frequently lift or move up to 25 lbs, and occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs.
• Accurate vision for both near and distant tasks.
• Ability to work in wet, humid, outdoor, noisy, and potentially hazardous conditions.
