This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Execute timely and precise Preventative Maintenance, FMIs, and/or ISIs.
• Support seasoned field engineers in the installation of equipment.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and service repairs on assigned equipment.
• Engage and collaborate with teammates, colleagues, and clients.
• Suggest value-added services to enhance customer business efficiency.
• Maintain logs for customer service and internal records of service.
• Order repair components and oversee cycle times.
• Utilize the GEHC escalation process and implement corrective action plans.
• Act as a member of the account community for key accounts.
• Identify sales opportunities and partake in contract renewals and revenue initiatives.
• Foster and strengthen customer relationships while driving satisfaction.
• Keep track of competitor information and market trends.
• Respond to service calls independently within one year of employment.
• Adhere to GEHC quality, EHS, compliance, and relevant regulatory standards.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline; or equivalent military education.
• Participation in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program may qualify.
• A High School Diploma/GED along with 4 or more years of experience in servicing electronic equipment as an alternative qualification.
• Familiarity with web applications and the Microsoft suite of products.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Must meet GEHC's standard background check and post-offer drug test requirements.
• Adhere to customer access policies, including necessary immunizations and potential additional drug tests or background checks.
• Capacity to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. without assistance.
• Capability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for extended durations.
• Ability to reach at, above, and below shoulder height; flex/extend the neck; and exhibit good hand and finger dexterity.
• Required visual abilities may include color, close, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to work after hours or on a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.
• Must adhere to GEHC quality, EHS, compliance, and relevant regulatory standards.
