Field Clinical Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Provide on-site clinical support and technical expertise during leadless LV therapy procedures.

• Identify appropriate patients, ensure compliance with best practices, and troubleshoot devices effectively.

• Assist with pre-procedure planning and follow-up after procedures.

• Conduct product training sessions, presentations, and hands-on demonstrations for healthcare professionals.

• Guide users through imaging modalities, procedural workflows, and new product features.

• Build and sustain relationships with physicians, research coordinators, and clinical teams.

• Act as the primary contact for assigned sites.

• Facilitate device usage, procedural planning, and logistical support.

• Develop and provide educational materials, models, simulations, and in-service programs.

• Ensure teams comprehend device functionality, procedural techniques, and interpretation of clinical data.

• Collect and analyze feedback on device performance, procedure efficiency, and patient outcomes.

• Identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation.

• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams on product enhancements.

• Ensure clinical activities adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies.

• Generate accurate documentation and maintain vendor credentials for access to healthcare facilities.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant experience in clinical support, field clinical support, clinical engineering, or similar roles within the medical device industry.

• One of the following: High school diploma with 11 years of relevant experience; Associate degree with 9 years; Bachelor's degree with 7 years; Advanced degree with 5 years.

• Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite/applications, virtual meeting platforms, and project management tools.

• Experience in cardiac rhythm management, structural heart, or advanced cardiac therapies.

• Knowledge of echocardiographic imaging, trans-septal techniques, and related cardiac intervention workflows.

• Ability to communicate complex clinical concepts and train diverse audiences effectively.

• Experience thriving in interventional cardiac procedure settings.

• Familiarity with cardiac imaging and hospital decision-making processes.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to influence target audiences, cultivate physician champions, and navigate complex account environments.

• Willingness to travel approximately 80%, including weekends, overnight, and international travel.

• Valid driver's license is required.

• Compliance with applicable driving and state regulations.

• Capable of standing, walking, sitting, talking, hearing, using hands, reaching, stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, and lifting up to 20 pounds.

• Required vision abilities include close, distance, depth, and color vision, with the capacity to adjust focus.
